Grächen is a true hiking paradise, offering routes for leisurely walkers and experienced mountain enthusiasts alike. Follow the historic Suonen irrigation channels, hike to the idyllic Alpji or climb to the summit of the Wannihorn for breathtaking panoramic views. For a more challenging adventure, the hike to the Bordierhütte mountain hut leads you into a spectacular world of mountains and glaciers.

From Grächen, you can enjoy an impressive panorama featuring some of the most beautiful 4,000-metre peaks in the Alps.

Looking south, three striking summits dominate the view: the Weisshorn, the Bishorn and the Brunegghorn. On clear days, their snow-covered peaks stand out beautifully against the deep blue sky. A magical sight in every season.

To the north, the imposing Bietschhorn steals the show. In the evening sun, its rugged appearance is transformed into a magnificent palette ranging from soft pink to fiery red.

The Tour Monte Rosa is a spectacular multi-day trek through Switzerland and Italy, circling the impressive Monte Rosa massif. The route crosses high mountain passes and passes glaciers and authentic Alpine villages, offering magnificent views of some of the highest peaks in the Alps along the way.

For true mountain enthusiasts, the two-day hike via the Bordierhütte to the summit of the Gross Bigerhorn is an unforgettable challenge. The route follows Europe’s highest marked mountain hiking trail to the summit at 3,625 metres, where a breathtaking panorama rewards every effort. This demanding Alpine hike requires excellent fitness, sure-footedness and mountain experience.

At Robis Forest Play Park, children can climb, play and explore to their heart’s content, while the playgrounds on the Hannigalp offer plenty of fun in both summer and winter. Grächen is a paradise for mountain bikers and e-bikers, offering adventurous single tracks, challenging climbs and magnificent mountain views. The highlight is the Flowtrail: around five kilometres of pure riding fun, with flowing bends and narrow gravel paths leading through fragrant larch and Swiss stone pine forests and across lush Alpine meadows. Enjoy a relaxed descent or tackle the jumps for an extra dose of adrenaline!
